Mardi Gras is two weeks packed full of culture, entertainment and social events including two of the most famous parties in the world and of course the jewel in the crown - the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. It all takes place in Australia's beautiful harbour city, fringed by beaches, gay-friendly, cosmopolitan and tropical.
The 2010 Mardi Gras has a new format lasting two weeks and punctuated by major events on three successive weekends – Launch at Fair Day, Parade and Party.
