Traditionally a Sydney event, the Autumn Racing Carnival revolves around the two principal metropolitan clubs, the Australian Jockey Club, which races at Randwick and Warwick Farm, and the Sydney Turf Club, which races at Rosehill and Canterbury.

The Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival sees top class racing action in Sydney from February to April and culminates with the running of the $3.5Million Golden Slipper stakes at Rosehill for two-year-old gallopers.
